Overview

Darjeeling, the enchanting town, also known as the “Queen of Hills” lies nestled in the grandeur of the snow-capped mountains and lush green tea gardens. A holiday resort during the British rule, this town still exudes its past grandeur, charm and majesty, attracting a lot of visitors. Tucked away in the Himalayas, south of the state of Sikkim, Darjeeling at an altitude of almost 7000ft is situated in West Bengal, sharing its border with Sikkim in the north, Nepal in the west and Bhutan in the east. Darjeeling derives its name from the local Tibetan name ‘Dorjee-ling’, meaning ‘Place of the Thunderbolt’.

DAY 1 13TH APRIL '19 : IXB AIRPORT TO KALIMPONG + SIGHT SEEN

After refreshments move towards Kalimpong. It is just 2 hr min journey from Siliguri. After reaching check into your pre booked hotels,get fresh and go for sight seen covering covering Durpin Dhara, Zong Dog Palri Fo-Brong Monastery, Dello Hills & view Point Dr.Graham”s Home and Flower & Orchid Nurseries. Evening free for leisure.You can visit the local market on your own expense.

DAY 2 14TH APRIL '19 : LAVA/ LOLEYGAON SIGHT SEEN

After having breakfast around 9am, and proceed for Lolegaon. After reachung proceed for Lava Jhandhi dara Sunrise Point, you will get to see the view of Kunchendzonga mountain view, Eco Part, Laxuman Jhula ( hanging bridge) local village visit . Overnight at Kalimpong.

DAY 3 15TH APRIL '19 : KALIMPONG TO IXB AIRPORT DROP

After breakfast leave Kalimpong & transfer NJP/ IXB Airport for the onwards Journey.
